Meet our Dental Assistants

Denan Hernandez

RDAEF2

I have had the pleasure of working with this amazing team since September of 2001 as an Registered Dental Assistant. I made the choice to continue my education in 2012 at Sacramento City College to obtain a license for a Registered Dental Assistant/Extended Functions 2(RDAEF2), which allows me to perform many technical procedures. Dentistry has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I strive for perfection everyday, my goal is to help my patients stay calm, comfortable, and leave here with a great experience. I look forward to many years in changing peoples lives! I love spending time with my husband and two sons. We enjoy camping and going to the lake. My personal favorite thing is watching my kids do many activities and sports; such as long jump in track and field, football, baseball, and basketball. I always love meeting new patients and hope to meet you soon!

I have worked for Dr. Reading since October 2009 and have been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1996. In 2013 through continuing education at Sacramento City College I have achieved earning my license as a Registered Dental Assistant/Extended Functions 2 (RDAEF2). I enjoy coming to work every morning knowing I get to spend most of my day with a great team that is more like family. It is also great to see how much we can impact people's lives through helping them improve their smile and their dental health. I am very grateful to be a part of Dr. Reading's team. On my time off I enjoy spending time with my children, husband, family, and friends.

RDA

I was born in Sutter County and in 1995 moved to Washington State where I graduated high school. I attended Anthem College and graduated with my diploma for Dental Assisting in 2012 and joined this team shortly after. In my spare time I enjoy traveling with my husband and our two dogs, spending time with family and friends, as well as outdoor activities. I’m very passionate about my career and hope to be a part of changing people’s lives.

Katrina Logan

RDA

As a military wife I have had the pleasure of traveling around the word meeting new people and learning many cultures. My husband and I have returned to our hometown to be closer to our friends and family. I have been a dental assistant for 13 years and have had the pleasure of joining the Reading, Reid, and Wilson team in spring of 2017. The best part of working in this office is building relationships with our patients and making them feel like they are visiting friends instead of just going to another doctor visit. I feel so blessed to be able to spend my day working alongside such talented and knowledgeable men and women who strive for excellence. In my spare time I enjoy camping, boating, hiking, and spending as much time as I can with my family.

RDA

I have had the pleasure of working with this amazing team since June 2017. Before working here I went to Yuba College where I received my associate’s degree in social and behavioral science. After that I attended Carrington College in Citrus Heights for the dental assistant program and was hired shortly after my externship. During the short amount of time I’ve been with this team I already feel like I’m a part of the family and absolutely love what I do. On my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, travel with my boyfriend, and playing with my three dogs. I truly love feeling like I’m making a difference by helping improve my patient’s lives and their smiles.

RDA

I have had the pleasure of joining this great team with amazing doctors in April of 2018. They have all been so awesome in helping me along the way. I graduated in 2015 from Heald College with my associates degree in science as well as my dental assisting certificates.  Shortly after, I became an RDA along with receiving my orthodontic assisting license. I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, my family and the newest addition to our family, my son. I love what I do and I look forward to making many of our patients experiences great.
