Meet our Hygienists
Yavette Kersey, RDH
I have worked in Dr Reading's office since 2007. I have been a hygienist since 1999. I really enjoy what I do and feel that Dr Reading's dental office has provided me with many opportunities to grow. Dr Reading is always up to date with the latest and greatest technology. Dr Reading encourages his staff to be proactive in their continuing education to best serve our valued patients. I feel confident referring my family and friends to Dr Reading's dental practice because I know they will receive the best dental treatment and personal care possible. I have five children and one grandson. I live in the country and enjoy riding horses with my husband.

I'm happy to say that I have over 25 years of dental experience. I've been a hygienist for 14 years and worked as a registered dental assistant prior to becoming a hygienist. I have always enjoyed being able to get up each day knowing I'll be meeting new people and catching up with patients/friends that I have had the pleasure of meeting. Throughout the years it has been important to me to be part of a dental team that strives to offer the highest possible quality of care to their patients. Without a doubt I know that in joining Dr Reading and his team I am part of just such a team. We are continually striving to care for our patients utilizing the latest and greatest technology along with a high standard of comfort and care. It is important to me that patients feel comfortable and relaxed. I believe we have achieved this with our spa like atmosphere, and friendly staff. Patients often say; " It feels like being at a spa in here." When you come in for your new patient visit, I promise you will be amazed at the personal attention you receive and the quality of your visit to our office. When I'm not at the office you'll find me enjoying time with friends and family in the great outdoors, working in my yard, at church or a church activity.

I have had the pleasure of being part of Dr. Reading's team since 2004. I am happy to say that after 30 years I still enjoy dental hygiene. One of the most enjoyable things for me is building long lasting relationships with my patients. Many are like friends and family to me and I look forward to our visits. At Dr. Reading's office building relationships, patient comfort, trust, and providing the highest quality of care is important. Being part of a team that is generous both in our community and abroad is a passion of mine. We have had the opportunity to serve our veterans with free dental care on the second Thursday of every September; we have given back smiles and confidence to several members in our local community. This October I will be going on my third dental mission trip to Ecuador it is truly a life changing experience. When I am not in the office I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy travel, gardening, walking and my most recent hobby is going kayaking.
